Women's snowmobiling gear
Okay,
so you guys want to spend a lot of time on the trail, and you want
to have fewer complaints from the wife/girlfriend about the time
and money you spend riding. Better yet, you’d like it if she
would get into the sport and join you, right? Here’s some
advice from women who have not only stopped complaining about the
money spent, they have even given snowmobile gear as a gift to their
guys. The ultimate reward for both parties is that these women have
also learned to love snowmobile riding for themselves!
Women want the same thing men want in a snowmobiling experience.
They want a good machine and appropriate gear. The problem is that
they don’t realize it the first couple of times they go out
on the trail with their guys. Some women who have learned to love
the sport report that their first experience on a machine was a
bad one. Jenny, wife and mother of three had this to say,
“I wanted to join my husband and give it my best shot. I
wanted to be with him and really share the experience. But the sled
he gave me to ride was terrible. It had no suspension. It didn’t
have big enough space for my feet. It had no hand warmers. I was
miserable and believe that any man would have wanted to quit if
he’d been in my position. When he let me try out his new Polaris,
I was in heaven!”
Women, if you want to enjoy riding, get the right equipment. Get
a machine as good or better than your man’s sled, make sure
it has hand warmers and that you can snuggle your body into it comfortably.
And men have to realize that taking their girlfriend/wife along
once in a while, bundled in her winter street clothes and riding
on an inferior sled just isn’t going to cut it. She isn’t
going to have a good time, and by extension, neither are you.
Women, you need to get the appropriate clothing gear. Get a good
sled and give yourself time to get into the feel and groove of it.
Before you know it, it will be you who is dragging your guy out
on the trail! by Selia Franco Pender
