The
Yamaha 2006 RS Vector features a 3-cylinder Genesis 120™ engine
that is compact and lightweight. The four-valve design produces
a huge amount of torque for corner-to-corner acceleration on the
trail. The broad torque curve is easy for clutch tuners to hit and
allows riders to have quick power after back shifting.
The Genesis engine has the primary clutch directly attached to
the crankshaft. This eliminates parts and weight and allows the
engine to be mounted deeper into the chassis for a lower center
of gravity and better stability.
The Yamaha RS Vector snowmobile uses the ProActive™ torsion
spring rear suspension and has a pair of tri-cam spring preload
adjusters and fully adjustable control rod.
For greater comfort, the yamaha snowmobile features a tall seat
so that the rider has a clear vantage point in front of them. The
seat is also suitable for a long day’s ride.
The Yamaha RS Vector snowmobile features hand and thumb warmers
that have been rated among the best in the industry. Each are individually
controlled with the settings shown on the digital gauge for easy
viewing. Riders can choose from ten settings on the grips and ten
settings on the thumb warmers instead of just a hi-lo setting.
The Yamaha snowmobile also features an electric starter system
that fires up with the turn of a key.
The digital gauge pod on the Yamaha RS Vector allows the driver
to see data at a glance. Speedometer readings are displayed digitally.
The gauge pod also displays heater settings and fuel level as well
as odometer.
With a tall windshield, the Yamaha RS Vector offers superb protection
from snow spray and wind on the trail.
The Yamaha RS Vector snowmobile is among the finest in the industry.
