ONTONAGON -- Although the Copper Peak Ski Flying board of directors
canceled the snowmobile hill climb at Copper Peak scheduled for
this weekend, the Masters-sanctioned snowmobile drag races in Ontonagon
are still planned.
They're set for Saturday, March 4. Work on the track has been ongoing
and will continue right up to the day of the races, according to
race organizer Skip Schulz.
Each class is limited to 16 drivers. It will be on a first-registered
basis, with the remaining spots to be filled the morning of the
races.
The start of the Test N' Tune runs between 10:30 and 11 a.m., and
racing begins at 11 a.m. sharp.
